We are very thankful to every person in our All Saints family (and beyond) for their continued support of Laundry Love South Florida.  Your outstanding generosity has helped those less fortunate individuals, which includes homeless as well as economically challenged single persons and families, with the ability to have clean clothing and bedding.

As we announced previously, due to the onset of COVID, we had to stop our monthly volunteer events in March 2020, but we resurrected Laundry Love South Florida in late November 2020, in a different way. Through our partnership with The Laundromart, 1410 N. Federal Highway, Hollywood, FL; we were able to work out a process where their attendants now temporarily assist our guests until we can resume again with our volunteer team in person.  We hope to resume in person events sometime in the fall of this year. We continue to monitor the CDC, along with diocesan guidelines, in order to ensure the safety of all of our volunteers.

By every measure, Laundry Love South Florida has been a resounding success! We have now completed 14 total months of helping those less fortunate since we first began this ministry in October, 2019.  As of the end of June, 2021, we helped over 600 guests wash over 2500 loads of laundry, which is equal to over 25 tons of clean laundry!

Again, we owe our special thanks to each of you who have pitched in to make Laundry Love South Florida a success.  We invite members of All Saints and anyone in the South Florida community who is interested, to support Laundry Love in one or more of the following ways:

We spend approximately $600 monthly to support this ministry. Tax-deductible donations can be made online at the All Saints website or by mailing checks to All Saints at 333 Tarpon Dr, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301 (be sure to write “Laundry Love” in the memo section of the check).

We also welcome supplies such as laundry pods, bottled or powdered detergents, and fabric softener sheets. We are now running low on these items, and if you are able, you can drop these off in the All Saints vestibule on Sundays or by contacting the church office to check on a time to stop by.
