All Saints Liturgical Choir
The All Saints Liturgical Choir, sings for the 10:30 am liturgy September through June, as well as extra services for major feast days. Our volunteer singers are supported and enhanced by professional section leaders and Student Choral Scholars.
Rehearsals are held on Sunday’s at 9:00 am prior to the 10:30 am liturgy and mid-week rehearsals are planned as needed and are normally held on a Wednesday or Thursday evening from 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm.
The choir sings a wide variety of repertoire consisting of anthems that are an integral part of our Anglican tradition, together with music from every musical period, spirituals, gospel, music of the world church, and contemporary pieces. The choir also provides music for various special services throughout the year, including a Service of Advent Lessons and Carols, and themed choral concerts such as Music of the Night and Songs of the People.
Membership in the choir is open to all. Come with whatever musical skills you might have. If you do not read music, we will assist in teaching you simple and painless ways to learn. Some people can commit themselves to choir for the entire years, others can only commit for a time or season.
New River Handbell Choir
The New River Handbell Choir presents music throughout the year and are featured in special musical events and celebrations. Membership is open to individuals who have some music reading ability. The handbell choir meets seasonally on specific Sundays immediately following the 10:30 am service in the church.
