“Walk in Blessing”: Wellness, Wholeness, and Renewal in Scripture, Tradition, and Community

A Lenten Series at All Saints Episcopal Church, Fort Lauderdale, offered throughout the months of February and March, 2024

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you plans to give you hope and a future.   Jeremiah 29:11

And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.   2 Corinthians 9:8

Join us for a six-part series this Lent on the topics of blessing and well-being. What does it mean in Holy Scripture when people were promised God’s blessing? How did the ancient Jewish, Roman, and Christian communities understand blessing in the context of human wellness and wholeness? In what ways can our faith community become a blessing to others, especially in our everyday interactions in the world? When the world seems to be a place of confusion, sadness, and frustration, what resources can we draw upon to renew our lives in light of the abundant blessings of God?

This teaching and discussion series will meet throughout the liturgical season of Lent to explore what it means to understand, receive, and live into God’s blessing. Programs are offered on a variety of days and times for your convenience. Join us for any or all of the following:
