All Saints Episcopal Church will have our first Drive-In Communion service on Sunday, October 11, 2020, at 10 a.m. Cars will park in Brion Park (the grassy park between the church and the New River that we use for parking), tune in on our AM station, and worship with us! Those who attend who would like communion will receive the host as they depart in their cars. This service will also be livestreamed on Vimeo and Facebook for those who wish to worship from home.Stay tuned for more information coming soon!
All in-person services and other events at All Saints remain suspended. Mother Leslie has regular conference calls with the Bishop and other clergy in the diocese to strategize how best to navigate these unfamiliar waters. We remain committed to social distancing and doing our part to disrupt the community spread of COVID-19.
To ensure worship goes as uninterrupted as possible, Church leaders have established a new live streaming service. The following services will be live streamed until further notice:
- Sunday morning service at 10 a.m.
- Wednesday service at 12:05 p.m.
- Thursday evening Vespers at 6:30 p.m.
- Compline will be held every night at 8:30 p.m. except Thursday
Please visit the following website to access the live stream: https://vimeo.com/allsaintsftl.
Should any changes need to be made to our worship schedule or planned events, we will notify the congregation by email and updates on our Facebook page.
When in person worship resumes, the following services will be held:
Join us at 8:00 am on Sunday, if you are an early riser for our Rite II Eucharist Service. This service does not include music except for the closing hymn. Following the first service, join us for coffee and conversation in the Neaverson Chapel or the Jensen Courtyard (weather permitting; specific location is noted in the bulletin). It’s a good time to connect in fellowship and grow your faith.
At 10:30 am service on Sunday is the Rite II Choral Eucharist. As you arrive, you will be warmly welcomed by our greeters who will be ready to answer any questions you have about All Saints and provide you with a bulletin for the order of service. This service is filled with the beautiful sound of our choir singing selections of traditional and moving music. All are welcome to receive communion. After the service, everyone is invited to join us for coffee and conversation in Neaverson Chapel or the Jensen Courtyard (depending on the weather; specific location is noted in the bulletin). All are welcome and included.
Each Wednesday at 12:05 pm we offer a Healing Prayer Service with the Eucharist. This is a warm and loving service of prayer, anointing and laying on of hands for healing in offering prayers for yourself, for loved ones, and for all on our prayer list. The service is held in our warm and intimate setting of St. Luke’s Chapel.
Vespers is a wonderful and deeply spiritual liturgy of prayer which is the penultimate of the ancient daily Christian “Prayer Hours.” Vespers offers us an opportunity for thanksgiving for the good in the day, to let go of the stresses of work and life; and to turn all things earthy, over to God near the end of the day.
This liturgy of prayer is offered on THURSDAY EVENINGS AT 6:30 on VIMEO and will include readings from Holy Women, Holy Men, in commemoration of those women and men of faith who have gone before us in a life of prayer. Vespers generally takes about 20 minutes to complete.
