Reader’s Theatre Opportunity
Jack Hyman will be directing a Reader’s Theatre Production of a very fun, entertaining, comedy-murder-mystery right here at All-Saints in November (date to be determined), and he would love to have your help and your participation.
Reader’s Theatre, for those of you who may not know, is a performance style where actors read scripts aloud, focusing on expressive vocal delivery and minimal staging, without memorizing lines or using elaborate sets, props, or costumes. It is a fun theatrical presentation that is not staged but rather “read” by actors who may be sitting in chairs or standing. There is no worry or fear for anyone to “memorize” lines as actors will always have a script with them.
He is hoping that enough of you would be interested in volunteering for this exciting, adventurous, delightful theatrical event which is always rewarding. It is also a great way to fulfill any of your “actor” aspirations of performing in a play without the pressures of many rehearsals or long hours of memorization. Did I mention that it will be a lot of FUN!
Please let Jack know if you are interested in being part of this fun-filled event. His email address is: writer2day@icloud.com
Also, if you would like to participate but do not want to “perform,” please contact Jack as there will be plenty of “behind-the-scenes” yet very exciting things to help with and your presence would be greatly appreciated …AND NEEDED!
