My brothers and sisters,
I want to take a moment to share this message with you from the Stewardship Team at All Saints.
The Stewardship Team approaches stewardship as a journey that unfolds in two meaningful phases. The first phase is financial giving, which provides the resources necessary to sustain the ministries, worship, and outreach that make our parish a place of faith, welcome, and service. Financial stewardship is important because it allows the church to carry out its mission in the community and support the spiritual life of the parish.
But stewardship does not end with financial support. The second phase is dedicated to Time and Talent, and this is where stewardship truly comes alive. This is the moment when faith becomes action. It is where each person’s unique gifts, passions, and ideas become part of the life of the church. Whether someone has years of experience to offer or simply a desire to help and grow, every form of engagement matters. Serving on a team, helping with a ministry, supporting fellowship, offering creative ideas, or simply showing up to participate all contribute to the spiritual vitality of our community. It is amazing what you can do if you just show up and participate.
All of you have done a wonderful job this year in contributing of yourselves to the first phase of stewardship – the financial support, and I thank you for your generosity to helping All Saints flourish.
I now invite you to discover the second phase of stewardship so that you can further develop and possibly find new gifts that might apply to giving of your Time and Talent. This Sunday, March 15, 2026, we will hold our Ministry Fair at All Saints following each of the morning services. It is in this spirit of stewardship that I invite you to stop by to hear the stories of those who currently give and share of themselves in these important ministries. Some ministries, such as serving on the altar or helping with our livestream ministries, helps each of us directly in our church lives. Our outreach ministries, such as T.R.U.E. Fund and Laundry Love, helps those who much less fortunate than us. There are many to choose from.
First, when you are in church, I encourage you to pray to ask, to listen, and to hear the spirit speaking to you. What is he or she calling you to do, or possibly encouraging you to do? It might be something that takes you out of your comfort zone (those are the ones that can be the most fulfilling).
Then stop by our Ministry Fair that we are hosting after both Sunday services. If the weather holds, we will be meeting in Becky’s Garden enjoying the beauty of the season. If it rains, we will move inside Neaverson.
Remember, it is in the second phase of stewardship, dedicated to giving of our Time and Talent, that is where stewardship truly comes alive. This is the moment when faith becomes action. It is where each person’s unique gifts, passions, and ideas become part of the life of the church.
You may just discover where God has called you to be.
If you can’t make it to the ministry fair, please call me. You can always reach out to me anytime if you have any questions at 772-239-1668 or srwarden@allsaintsfl.org.
Yours together in our faith,
Rich
