Ever wonder how a composer creates a new musical composition for Seraphic Fire? Alvaro Bermudez, composer of the fantastic new work Danzas del Silencio, sits down with Seraphic Fire artistic director Patrick Dupre Quigley and several artists to discuss the musical commissioning process. Audience members get a glimpse inside the creative mind and will be introduced to the hundreds of creative decisions and conundrums that face a 21st-century composer. The evening will open with a short documentary about the piece and conclude with the debut Seraphic Fire’s newest music video, the world premiere recording of Danzas del Silencio.
